Dry Creek Farm

USDA Certified Organic

Certified Organic Grade AA Large Certified Organic by Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) to National Organic Plan standards. What does Certified Organic mean? Chicks from one day old to laying hen retirement (stewing hens) must NEVER have an antibiotic, NEVER any miticides, ALL feed must be certified organic. Chickens must be able to go out on certified organic pasture 365 days, rain or shine. We open the chicken house door at 6:30 am and close the door at dark to prevent varmits from killing the chicks/chickens. Our water has no chlorine and comes from our deep well, which we use for our household. Our feed is WSDA organic certified and comes from In-Season Farms, Ltd in British Columbia. All grain in the feed is certified organic and comes from Saskatchewan farms. Vitamins are generated by fermentation for inclusion in the feed. We have a USDA/WSDA egg handlers license and are inspected annually for handling, grading, washing, packing and storage of our eggs. We maintain regular liaison with the Puyallup Poultry Laboratory of WSU. They periodically test our eggs for Avian Flu. Our chickens provide the best quality eggs that we are able to provide to you.
